More than a plain roller wants, yes. With air, gently, and not much else. The facings are a fine knit and they hold dust rather than shedding it, so a vacuum on low with a soft brush across the face is the whole routine. Don't scrub, don't soak, and don't attack a mark with a wet cloth, because you can distort a knit and it doesn't come back. A powder room, comfortably. Directly over a sink or near a shower, we'd think twice. The fabrics are polyester and the humidity itself is not the problem the way it is with wood. Splashes are, because water marks show on a sheer facing more than on a solid fabric and there's no scrubbing a knit clean afterward. Steam that carries cooking oil is worse. Over a kitchen sink we'll usually recommend something you can wipe.
